SkyFest Tennessee 2006 was held at McKellar Sipes Regional Airport on October 7 & 8.  Skyfest is a Charity air show benefiting the Kiwanis club.  It is organized and conducted by volunteers.

Saturday the show held a record crowd.  There were acts by full scale pilots Skip Stewart, Greg Koonts, Walt Piece with dual wing-walkers, and the East Coast A-10 demo team with the P-51 Heritage flight.

The West Tennessee RC Flyers club put on a static display and flew flying demonstrations during the airshow.  About 20 club members showed up each day and put about 40 aircraft on display and explained them to the crowd.  We had two scheduled flying blocks during the show and one unscheduled when there was a problem with the full-scale A-10.

Everyone had a lot of fun and the event raised a lot of money for the benefiting charities.
